A wellness professional for almost 40 years, Castle Connolly Private Health Partners, LLC (CCPHP) is proud to have Neal Pire, National Director of Wellness Service, serving our members.

Neal is a recognized expert on Health Coaching, Sports Medicine and Strength and Conditioning. He has been a contributor and columnist for numerous trade and consumer publications and has served as author/editor of the ACSM’s Career and Business Guide for the Fitness Professional, the ACSM’s Resources for the Personal Trainer Manual 2nd and 3rd Editions and ACSM’s Health-Related Physical Fitness Assessment Manual.  He is author of Plyometrics for Explosive Speed and Power. In addition, Neal has been a contributor and technical consultant to local and national media such as The New York TimesWall Street JournalWebMD, MSNBCRunner’s WorldShapeFitnessForbes, WABC-TV Eyewitness News, and the CBS Early Show, among others.

He has served on the Sports Medicine Teams for USA Track and Field, the US Olympic Committee, and the New York City Marathon, and is currently a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in USA Swimming’s Sports Medicine and Science Network.

Neal has earned a variety of certifications from nationally recognized fitness organizations, including: American Council on Exercise (ACE), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).

Sean Person has spent much of the last decade managing dozens of health clubs and working with thousands of clients. After two years of regional management of ten personal training programs for a national health club chain, he decided to return to his passion of inspiring others to make healthful lifestyle changes. He believes in a balanced approach to health and wellness, which is mirrored in his own fitness pursuits. He is a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Weight Loss Specialist, Certified Master Trainer, the Lead Health Coach for Castle Connolly Private Health Partners and co-founder of ASF-Peak Health and Always Strong Fitness.

Lauren Sharifi received her Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics from the University of Connecticut and is currently working towards her Master’s in Public Health at Boston University. Lauren is a registered and licensed dietitian in Massachusetts with over six years of experience as a clinical dietitian. Lauren is passionate about improving others relationship with food to ultimately improve health and enjoyment of eating. She believes in the “everything in moderation approach” and works with clients to find balance by focusing on whole foods and mindful eating. Lauren also enjoys cooking and developing nutritious and delicious recipes.
