Welcome to our Concierge Program
Collaborating with Castle Connolly Private Health Partners (CCPHP) has allowed us to create a more optimized healthcare experience for you. The Membership-based or “concierge” model we practice gives us more time to build the strong doctor-patient relationships that are essential to helping you achieve optimal wellness.
The structure of our Membership Program is designed with one simple focus: you.
DR. ALLEN GREENLEE
Dr. Allen Greenlee’s passion for medicine stems from a young age. Having a father who was a psychiatrist inspired Dr. Greenlee to pursue a similar path in which he could help people. In 1982, Dr. Greenlee received his Medical Degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Services. After receiving his MD, Dr. Greenlee completed an internship and residency in Primary Care/ Internal Medicine from The George Washington University Medical Center.
From 1985 to 1991, Dr. Greenlee worked at the George Washington University Department of Health Care Sciences as both an attending physician for approximately 2,000 patients, and an assistant professor for third- and fourth-year medical students. Dr. Greenlee also served as a preceptor for primary care residents, and from 1989 to 1991, acted as the Director for the Division of Adult Medicine, supervising half the Department’s practice and clinical budget. Additionally, he was appointed as the group leader in the Department’s Total Quality Improvement Program.
Since 1991, Dr. Greenlee has worked as an internist in private practice in Internal Medicine. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Greenlee has participated in the practice’s Medicare Patient-Centered Medical Home Program since 1992.
While in private practice, Dr. Greenlee also served as an Associate Professor for medical students in primary care clinical rotations and the Longitudinal Primary Care Clinic at the George Washington University Medical Center.
Along with Dr. Greenlee’s innate desire to care for a spectrum of diverse health needs, he also enjoys an array of different hobbies in his spare time. His wide range of passions includes automotive work and antique car restoration, playing the piano, and enjoying his grandchildren.
DR. LISA KAUFMAN
Dr. Lisa Kaufman’s interest in medicine began at a young age after shadowing medical professionals at her local hospital. This experience gave her a bird’s eye view into the work of a physician and sparked a desire to pursue an occupation in which she would not only help people, but also be able to develop long-term and meaningful relationships with her patients.
Dr. Kaufman received her master’s degree in physiology and went on to receive her medical doctorate from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1986. She then pursued an internship in internal medicine and completed her residency at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. In 1990, Dr. Kaufman became board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been recognized for her work by Washington Magazine as a Top Doctor on ten different occasions.
After completing her residency, Dr. Kaufman worked as a Team Physician at the George Washington University Health Plan for two years and in 1991 joined Washington Internal Medicine Associates which later became Drs. Kaufman, Greenlee, Wheaton, and Beaton, P.C. Dr. Kaufman has continued to be involved in teaching and mentoring third- and fourth- year medical students from George Washington University during their primary care rotation and has held an Associate Clinical Professor voluntary faculty position since 1991 at George Washington University. Her 30 plus years as a physician specializing in internal medicine coupled with her passion for preventing illness and underlaying health concerns has yielded an interest in promoting wellness and lifestyle medicine to improve her patients’ overall wellbeing.
In her spare time, Dr. Kaufman enjoys an array of hobbies, including west coast swing dancing, swimming, walking, gardening, baking, traveling, and playing cribbage with her husband.
DR. JEAN ANN BEATON
Dr. Jean Ann Beaton’s career in medicine began during her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska where she graduated with a degree in Biology in 1990. Her innate interest in biology and human physiology led her to spend time in neuropharmacological research resulting in several publications in this area and ultimately leading her to New York to pursue a medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Beaton considers her early experience at Mount Sinai to have been transformative. She thoroughly enjoyed her patient care experience across the spectrum of medical and surgical specialties, albeit she was particularly drawn to Internal Medicine. While at Mount Sinai she was recognized for her academic and clinical achievements and received both The James Felt Memorial Prize for Highest Overall Academic Achievement and the Florence J. Oppenheimer Prize for Excellence in Surgery.
After completing her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and obtaining board certification in Internal Medicine in 1998, Dr. Beaton worked as a Biotech Consultant. She considered the experience to be particularly mind-opening as she was able to delve into medical therapeutics and diagnostics. However, Dr. Beaton’s early and true passion for the practice of clinical medicine led her back to Internal Medicine. She practiced as an Internist in both Virginia and Maryland until joining and partnering with the independent GW MFA-affiliated group practice: Kaufman, Greenlee, Wheaton, and Beaton. Dr. Beaton is increasingly passionate about promoting lifestyle and wellness for her patients. As such, in 2020 along with her partners she transitioned to a concierge style practice providing the opportunity to spend the necessary time to deliver more comprehensive patient care with a focus on lifestyle and wellness.
In Dr. Beaton’s free time she enjoys cooking with her friends, and her two grown children. She also loves traveling and inspired by her early years in New York City, particularly enjoys city life and all that DC has to offer.
