Managing Stress in Unusual Times: How Meditation and Mindfulness Practices Help

Adjusting to a new normal in a time of uncertainty can be challenging and stressful. Studies have shown that practicing daily meditation can have a lasting impact on both your emotional and physical wellbeing, allowing you to better manage your relationship with stress and anxiety.
Join this special session with Linda Souders from Journey Meditation, who will teach you ways to manage the stressful moments that will happen throughout your day. She’ll help you mindfully reconnect with others and learn to build a habit that you can use anywhere and anytime you begin to feel overwhelmed.
Linda Souders began her formal study of meditation 20 years ago when attending a day-long meditation retreat with John Travis at the Spirit Rock Meditation Center. Seeking further meditation guidance, she branched out into Berkeley and San Francisco to continue her studies with prominent teachers, Adyashanti and Eugene Cash. Some of the other teachers and influencers over the years include Pema Chodron and Thich Nhat Hanh.
Linda also brings her passion for meditation into her teachings as a yoga instructor, with meditation being the seventh of the eight components of yoga. She is a founding teacher with Journey Meditation, who has been helping people live happier, healthier less-stressed lives since 2015.
