Let us be your guide.
THE SENS SOLUTION® FOCUSES ON FOUR PILLARS:
Inadequate sleep can be outright dangerous. Anyone who has experienced a “jerk-nap” while stopped at a red light — where you catch yourself nodding off — knows how easily lack of sleep can impact the quality your daily functioning. Poor sleep is also linked to high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, obesity, cancer, and a reduced quality of life. Your SENS Solution® Health Coach can help you devise an environment conducive to a more restorative sleep, “re-set” your daily clock, or better manage your unique challenges in order to help you get a peaceful night’s sleep.
We all know that exercise is integral to health, and yet, so many of us don’t get an adequate amount of it. A sedentary lifestyle can lead to weight gain, loss of mobility, and increased risk for a host of chronic diseases. Your SENS Solution® Health Coach can help empower you to find simple ways to move more and sit less.
We are what we eat! Poor nutrition can increase our risk for heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and certain types of cancer, as well as shorten your life and decrease your ability to function efficiently. Your SENS Solution® Health Coach can help you develop healthy meal-planning strategies, understand simple portion control techniques, or identify your behavioral triggers that lead to overeating.
Stress is not what happens to you, but how you respond to it. It is nearly impossible to avoid all stress in our lives, but properly managing stress is essential to maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Chronic stress can lead to increased risks of heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, depression, anxiety disorder, and other illnesses. Your SENS Solution® Health Coach can provide you with personal guidance and support to facilitate you on adopting stress management strategies or coping activities, like Abdominal Breathing that can help you manage daily stressors.
